Main Purpose
As a Restaurant General Manager (RGM), you will lead a quick service restaurant to consistent operational excellence by inspiring, developing, and guiding your team to deliver on company standards, policies, and procedures while creating exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Champion CHAMPS standards by leading the team to consistently exceed expectations in Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product, and Speed of Service.
- Manage restaurant shifts in line with company policies, driving sales growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Forecast and schedule labour effectively to meet operational and business demands.
- Implement and maintain controls to ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, property, and company funds.
- Oversee stock management and cost controls to maximise sales and profitability.
Business Performance
- Achieve Business Scorecard targets.
- Lead and execute local store marketing initiatives.
- Monitor performance trends and take proactive corrective action where required.
People Leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high‑performing team.
- Build an inclusive, positive, and high‑energy work environment.
- Lead with heart, role‑modelling company values and fostering strong engagement and accountability.
What You’ll Need
- 3–5 years’ management experience within Hospitality or the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
- Strong English communication, numeracy, and MS Office skills (Teams, Excel, Word).
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) is required; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for product quality, customer service excellence, and pride in the KFC brand.
- Based in the Cape Town / Western Cape area (advantageous).
