We're looking for a Group Banking Service Manager to join our dynamic Team at KFC Rohloff Group. Drive our franchise group's growth and success through being responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of banking and sales reconciliation processes, ensuring high levels of customer service, meeting sales and service targets, and complying with banking regulations while driving innovation and collaboration across teams.
What You'll Be Cooking Up:
Reconciliation Leadership:
Oversee the end-to-end reconciliation process for banking and sales transactions across multiple channels (e.g., e-commerce, POS, mobile).
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reconciling bank statements with sales data.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Data Ingestion and Integration:
Manage the ingestion of sales data from various channels into the banking and accounting system with assistance from the business intelligence department.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
Coordination with Operations Teams:
Collaborate with sales, business intelligence (IT), finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment in data collection, processing, and reconciliation.
Act as the primary point of contact for banking-related queries and issues from internal stakeholders.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities to automate and standardize reconciliation processes.
Implement advanced tools (e.g., AI-powered reconciliation software) to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for reconciliation workflows.
Reporting and Analytics:
Generate regular reports on reconciliation status, discrepancies, and trends.
Use data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) to provide actionable insights to senior management.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to reconciliation accuracy and turnaround time.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to payment fraud, data breaches, and reconciliation errors.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal audit requirements.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to processes.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of reconciliation specialists and analysts.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Provide training and upskilling opportunities to team members.
Strategic Initiatives:
Drive innovation in banking and reconciliation processes through the adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and scalability.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Admin, or related
Professional certificate (e.g., CA or CIMA) will be an advantage
6+ years of experience in banking operations, reconciliation, or financial data management.
Proven experience in leading reconciliation functions and managing teams
Familiarity with multi-channel sales environments and payment systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge in using power query in excel will be an advantage
Experience with reconciliation and accounting software.
Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) will be an advantage
