Project Manager

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our team at KFC Rohloff Group. The purpose of this role is to manage various aspects of commercial construction projects in the Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. The incumbent will work closely with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the projects are completed on time and within budget. Good communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships is an important aspect of the role.
What You'll Be Cooking Up:
- Oversee the building/construction projects and progress thereof.
- Scope the projects including equipment, materials, and manpower.
- Determines the project budget, timing, and costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and key team members of the project team
- off and on sites.
- Ensure compliance with SLA terms and conditions of vendors.
- Obtain permits and license from authorities for construction sites.
- Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed
- throughout the construction projects.
- Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare regular progress
- reports.
- Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Building and/or Quantity Surveying
- Registered and affiliated with Project Management and building institutions, advantageous.
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously – 5 years plus
- Experience in QSR Commercial projects essential.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management and architectural design software and Microsoft Office Suite
