Join Our Team as Architectural Technologist at Rohloff Group!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Architectural Technologist to support remodels and new build projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, assisting with council submissions, and ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget.
What You'll Be Cooking Up:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans for remodels and new builds.

Produce accurate construction drawings, technical details, and documentation.

Develop and manage Revit models, including Revit Family creation.

Conduct scoping of existing stores and prepare as-built drawings.

Prepare tender and construction drawing packages.

Assist with council submissions and signage applications.

Ensure compliance with SANS 10400 regulations and council requirements.

Work within defined project scopes and budgets.

Contribute to keeping projects on track and within budget.

Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and project leads.

Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.

Meet deadlines across various project phases through effective time management.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Design.
- SACAP Registered (Essential).
- Proficient in Revit (Architectural drawings and Revit Family building).
- 3 years’ relevant work experience
- Strong understanding of SANS 10400 regulations.
- Experience with council submission processes and technical compliance requirements.
- Strong technical drawing and detailing ability.
- High level of accuracy in drawing, documentation, and Revit model creation.
- Ability to understand project requirements and align deliverables accordingly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
