The Maintenance Manager at Rohloff Group plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of our assets, facilities, and equipment. By overseeing maintenance activities, implementing preventative measures, and managing vendor relationships, the Maintenance Manager safeguards our operational integrity, minimizes downtime, and contributes to cost-effective maintenance solutions. With a focus on excellence and proactive problem-solving, this role is instrumental in maintaining a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our employees and customers alike.

What You'll be Cooking Up:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Rohloff Group's assets, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, tiling, painting, and general upkeep of buildings and landscaped gardens.
  • Install and ensure efficient operation of all operational equipment.
  • Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and extended shifts.
  • Monitor spare parts and maintenance supplies inventory, initiating reordering when necessary.
  • Respond to emergency calls from Area Managers to ensure operational continuity.
  • Manage subcontractors for tasks outside of expertise, coordinating with the Project Manager.
  • Maintain organized records of receipts, invoices, and tools.
  • Develop work schedules for maintenance teams.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and manage the approved vendor list.
  • Run and manage the group's preventative maintenance program to reduce monthly repair costs.
  • Diploma or Equivalent: Preferably in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field, that provides a strong foundation in technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Diploma or Equivalent: Preferably in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field, that provides a strong foundation in technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Having your Electrician Red Seal certification along with a Three-Phase Wireman’s License will be advantageous
  • 5+ years maintenance experience in QSR or Retail
  • Proven experience in maintenance supervision or similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Hands-on approach and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage maintenance teams and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
  • Familiarity with electrical tools and computer applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Experience in project management and prioritization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package and Infraspeak.
